BioBroderick Bode, 28, is the second-oldest son of a declining, poverty-stricken Pureblood family, reagrded neither as one of the social elite or as "blood traitors" because of their complete lack of political involvement. Neither he nor any of his siblings or cousins has had a child, and so it seems likely that this is the last generation of the Bode family.
Broderick has always been a bit of a sore thumb, being the only Ravenclaw in school whom anyone thought downright stupid- though it was much more his acquiescent, implacable nature that made him seem that way. He applied for a position in the Ministry directly after school, but was not hired for a full six years because he was not believed to possess the aptitude. Slowly, he proved them wrong. Recently he has completed the necesssary training and transfered to the Department of Mysteries to become an Unspeakable.
